Another attempt to get back on topic... Yeah, I'm afraid he's going to die... he seems like a character who's supposed to die... good or evil... and I'm sure Jo's that evil... and it breaks my heart... but let's hope I'm/we're all WRONG here and he's going survive after all! I have one wish though: that it's NOT going to be Harry who kills him! It'd be too unbearable. Was anyone sorta GLAD it was Snape who killed DD? I know, it sounds weird but... if DD was going to die... I was sorta pleased it was Sevvie who did it... or actually I was not, I was shocked at first but after a while... it sorta makes sense. I mean, it takes someone very strong and capable to kill DD, don't you think, one of the greatest wizards of all times... even if there was not much glory in his death... It's good that it was Sevvie and not someone meaningless if you know what I mean...

Kidding, I'm kidding!

What can I say, I'm weird! But it would've been more horrible if it was some school kid (for example) who killed The Great Dumbledore, don't you think! It's better that it was someone... almost on equal. Oh, why am I saying "almost"...

Oh, who am I kidding?! I'm only making excuses, trying to accept Snape's actions... or make them sound good. No luck so far? You're not convinced? ;D

You know, Snape might have had good intentions at first. But when Harry showed up at Howarts and Dumbledore was continuously taking his side in almost everything, Snape's hatred of Harry might have grown greater because of this, to the point of Dumbledore's betrayal.

:PThere will definitely be a Duel between Harry and Snape. Harry HATES Snape with every fiber of his being. It's obvious he will be on a vigilianti mission--to hunt down and personally KILL Snape. This is going to be the motivation behind Harry learning Occlumency or TRYING to learn it. He will try to learn Occlumency to "get Snape". Problem is, none of his friends know Occlumency. The problem is Snape is the only person who knows Occlumency--other than Voldemort who will use it to try to kill Harry. So I suspect that Snape somehow keeps his eye on Harry and "bumps into him" in Hogsmead or somewhere else. Harry becomes enraged, pulls out his wand. We all know Snape has much quicker reflexes. He will ward off any curses which come his way. Even IF Harry does "learn" Occlumency Snape will have the upper hand. This is where I believe Snape will teach Harry Occlumency. Though I don't see it being as civil as it first was. Right now I am of the belief that Severus Snape is on the side of the OOTP. That Dumbledore found out about Draco's mission from Voldemort and gave Severus permission to kill him. To answer the question. Is Snape going to die? I believe so. I really hope Harry DOESN'T kill him, only to find out he was working for the Order. I think Snape will die protecting Harry from Voldemort or one of the more Powerful Death Eaters--either Bellatrix or Lucius Malfoy. Severus Snape will probably wind up being the Tragic Hero. Even if he does wind up being Evil, I see him dying to save Harry as a last-minute redemption. Until I read it in the book Snape is NOT Evil. I'm of the belief that he's slated to die. Somehow I don't see JKR allowing him to live. If he does die and is good, I'm going to cry. Seriously. I LOVE Snape. Especially the movie version.

Snape would be the perfect martyr or the most pointless sacrifice. I hope it'll be different, but I really can't see Snape surviving the war.

I think he is evil....not on record, but there are hints in GOF the movie, the scene when DD is wondering what to do, and Snape just says let him compete...they put important stuff in the movies, because all 7 have to connect...I hope he is not, but we can't be sure just yet.
