If it does turen out that Severus was really acting of his own volition in killing DD, then there's no doubt that he will be killed in book seven. If it's not Harry that does it, it's going to be someone else. I mean, we must all agree that JKR isn't going to let Voldemort survive in book seven? The Death Eaters will be overcome and there will most likely be a standoff between Harry and Snape. Post your comments on this.

I agree that I don't expect Voldemort to survive. I think Harry will end up defeating him, and the Death Eaters (or at least helping defeat them). And I too expect a standoff between him and Snape, since he's bound to run into him again, and he did say he wants to kill him as well.
IF he chose to kill Dumbledore, which I do not believe, then you may be right, he may have to die. Even if he is good, which I do believe, there's still the chance he could die...I never expected him to be a character who dies. But if he does, I certainly hope that it is in some noble fashion, some way of finally redeeming himself once and for all. If he's good, and he dies without any kind of redemption, that'd be tragic.

I think he's going to have a tragic, unheroic death. I agree that he will be redeemed, but I don't think many will know about it.

I was hoping he would have died already, before i came here i felt very mad at him when he killed dd, but at the same time very shocked. i was hoping for some mor heroic dd death, not this vulnerable old man who was pleading snape not to kill him and offered malfoy protection

Well that's why I don't think DD is dead.....Because he wouldn't plead..... I was shocked too when Snape killed DD, but in the end I'm just sad. Not because DD died(I had a feeling he would die anyway), but because I thought Snape's life was ruined.

it was already ruined, but now even more so. the ministry will be looking for him now, they will feel pretty stupid to think he wouldnt go back to his old days of bein a death eater, he was bound to go back

I'm hoping snape's not a dead man but he's prolly going to end up getting killed by harry or sent to azakaban for killing dumbledore. I'm hoping he will try to redeam himself by showing everyone of his memorys of making the unbreakable vow in hope they will belive him, but it prolly will end up with him dead.

yeah, probably. i think he signed his own death wish by killing dumbledore, nobody will give him another chance, he blew it, and he knows it

I'm wondering if he's thinkin about suicide. He's only gonna get killed by someone on his own side or by a dementor *looks at spelling - that can't be right* I know Id rather be killed by myself than a dementor.

you would? well, i say aurors will find him and throw him into azkaban, bt since dementors dont guard it anymore it'll be even easier to escape

I had a theory that he might go stay at his parent's house. If they lived in the muggle world that is.

well, he was in Spinners End, so he might go and try hide there?

I should think that wouldn't be a wise place to hide. I have a feeling that members of the Order might know about Spinner's End.

Yeah, he'll probably hide somewhere in the muggle world. I mean, he's a half-blood, right? So he must be familiar with both worlds... (Great.......Now I have a mental image of Snape sitting in a convertible, dangling his wand out the side while talking on a cell phone.... -_-)

LOL well in the UK comedy Stella Street, one of the actors (impersonating Al Pacino) is always going "Hooha!" (does the real Al Pacino say that? I dunno - just like is the real Joe Pesci as psychotic as the Stella Street version, hmm... LOL! Anyway ) And there was an ad here for a jeweller and the dude on it always said "No hooha!" so yeah, that too
